USU Learning Network: Two Free Webinars for USU Members in October on Characterizing
The Coalition of Urban Serving Universities (USU) is offering two webinars on why and how universities use neighborhood data as part of their urban serving mission. You are welcome to attend one or both. The webinars’ purpose is to enable USU institutions, both those who engage in neighborhood data collection and analysis and those looking to get started, to learn from each other through sharing current practices, innovative tools, and solutions to common problems. The webinar covers the following issues: 1) why universities engage in neighborhood data collection; 2) what data is collected; 3) how the data is shared both across the university and with the wider community; 4) how neighborhoods are engaged throughout the process; and 5) why non-university partners get excited about this work.
