Harnessing the Collective Power of Our Public Urban Research Universities.

The Coalition of Urban Serving Universities (USU) is a network of public urban research universities, based in Washington D.C., that represents every region of our country.
University presidents created the Coalition to leverage the intellectual capital and economic power of urban universities, thereby improving urban life and America’s competitiveness in the global economy. The organization serves a network of (40) public urban research universities that represent every region of our country.

New Funding Opportunity!

We are pleased to announce a request for proposals (RFP) for a new grant program entitled “Partnerships for Adult Learner Success” (PALS). This program aims to close the equity gap by increasing the number of Black, Latinx, and Indigenous adult learners receiving bachelor’s degrees.

To be eligible for this opportunity, institutions must be an HBCU, HSI, or have an adult learner undergraduate population of 20% or more.

Nominees should RSVP directly to Christel Perkins (cperkins@aplu.org) for call-in information or any questions on this initiative
