When Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans, a coalition of university, city, non-profit and business stakeholders banded together to survive, recover then transform their city. Today, many places are starting down their own road to recovery after Harvey, Irma and Maria while many other regions battle recurring shocks such as wildfires and earthquakes.
USU is hosting a webinar with Scott Cowen, who led Tulane University and worked with the city coalition to survive and transform after Katrina. President Cowen will share his experience and insights on the three phases post-disaster—survival, recovery, and transformation—and then be available for a Q&A to answer your specific questions.
Please join us for this important and timely event.
The webinar is scheduled for Wednesday, October 11th at 11:00 ET. Please register here.
